If I Die Before I Wake-Volume 5

Croaker by Barry Charman

One of the most profound stories in this collection, Croaker by Barry Charmin, is a beautifully written horror tale. Some of my favorite lines in it are:

“There was something ever truthful about the ragged community that wandered by. The story of any society was told by the people that slipped through its cracks.”

“The vicar was a tall man, approaching crooked. Stale as an idea, he seemed ageless and sexless, undefinable. The grave yawned every time he opened his mouth”

I hope you enjoy listening to this one because I loved reading it! This audio is available now on ITunes and Audible!
